“This song is about loving someone, in a very pure and true way, like you had found your match,your soulmate, and somehow, somewhere you parted ways, or were seperated by circumstances beyond your control. But that love, and all the deep feelings stay with you no matter where you are or where that person is. Feeling like you had shared so much with that person on a deep spiritual level that you were a part of them and they, a part of you. Finding solace in remembering the past, things you experienced with that person, and paying homage to those things. This isn’t about death at all, its about not being able to be with someone who is very much alive, that you cannot ever be with again- that is perhaps worse than death to some. Finding small ways to feel connected (we share the same sky, our souls speak from across the miles.)Willing yourself to be near them. A very poignant, bittersweet love song.
